Sports Mole previews Monday's Championship encounter between Derby County and Leeds United at Elland Road.

Derby County have the opportunity to leapfrog Leeds United in the Championship on Monday evening.

The Rams travel to Elland Road on the back of consecutive victories and another win could see them move into the top 10.

Nigel Clough's men have moved up to 12th in recent weeks, just one place behind their opponents.

Meanwhile, after looking like playoff contenders a couple of months ago, Leeds have faltered in recent weeks and are without a win in five games.

They will also be without Tom Lees after he was sent off for a dangerous tackle in their 3-0 defeat to Ipswich Town.

Neither side have realistic playoff ambitions with seven games to go, but a perfect run-in could see one of them in the mix come the end of the season.

Recent form

Leeds United: LLDDDW

Derby County: WWLDLL

Possible starting lineups:

Leeds United: Kenny; Peltier, Pearce, Byram, Warnock; Green, White, Brown, Habibou; Morison, McCormack

Derby County: Fielding; Buxton, Keogh, Gjokaj, Bryson; Ward, Hendrick, Forsyth, Davies; Sammon, Bennet

Sports Mole says: 1-2
