Leeds United supporter Aaron Cawley has been jailed for four months after attacking Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Chris Kirkland on the field of play.
The 21-year-old was charged with assault following the incident in Friday's 1-1 draw in Sheffield.
The youngster was arrested after Kirkland was pushed in the face during the clash, with Sky Sports News capturing the images during the televised match.
It later transpired that Cawley had been banned from attending football matches for three years when he was 16.
