Lazio director Igli Tare has said that the club are confident of signing Fabio Quagliarella in the summer.
The Biancocelesti were interested in bringing the striker to the Stadio Olimpico in the January transfer window, but he refused to leave Juventus before the end of the season.
"We spoke to Quagliarella and Sebastian Giovinco, but neither of them wanted to leave Juventus in January," Tare told Sky Sport Italia.
"Quagliarella gave the all-clear for the summer, so we may well resume those negotiations in June."
Quagliarella has won 25 caps for the Italian national side, scoring eight goals in the process.
