Watford manager Gianfranco Zola reportedly turns his attention to Juventus forward Vincenzo Iaquinta after giving up on his pursuit of Filippo Inzaghi.

Watford are said to be lining up a sensational move to sign Juventus striker Vincenzo Iaquinta.

The 32-year-old, who was capped 40 times by Italy between 2005 and 2010, has 12 months remaining on his current contract with the Turin club.

New Hornets boss Gianfranco Zola is desperate to land a marquee signing to boost his side's promotion prospects and has turned his attention to Iaquinta after playing down suggestions of a potential deal to sign Filippo Inzaghi, according to the Daily Mail.

Iaquinta scored one goal in seven Serie A appearances during a brief loan spell at Cesena last season.
