Toronto confirm Sebastian Giovinco capture

Juventus midfielder Sebastian Giovinco will join Canadian side Toronto in the summer.

MLS outfit Toronto have confirmed that Juventus midfielder Sebastian Giovinco will join the club at the end of the season.

The 27-year-old will link up with the club in the summer when his contract with Bianconeri expires.

"Toronto FC announced Monday that it has signed Italian international midfielder Sebastian Giovinco as a Designated Player," read a statement by the Canadian club.

"Giovinco will join Toronto FC at the conclusion of the Italian Serie A season. As per club and league policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed."

Giovinco has started just two league games for Juventus this season.
