A report suggests that Juventus are unwilling to let Luca Marrone go out on loan once again.

Everton have had a loan bid for Juventus midfielder Luca Marrone rejected, according to a report.

The Toffees are in the market for a central midfielder and have been linked with a number of targets in recent weeks, including Jorginho, Mohammed Sissoko and James McCarthy.

According to Sky Sport Italia, manager Roberto Martinez tried to secure a short-term deal for the Italian Under-21 international, who spent last season with Siena.

However, the Bianconeri are unwilling to let Marrone leave unless it is on a permanent basis, with a potential fee of £9m being touted by the same source.
