Juventus forward Mario Mandzukic turns down a lucrative contract offer from Qatari outfit Al-Gharafa, according to a report.

Mario Mandzukic will reportedly remain with Juventus until at least the January transfer window after turning down a lucrative contract offer from Qatari outfit Al-Gharafa.

The 33-year-old - strongly linked with a move away from the Italian champions during the summer - has been left out of Juve's squad for the group stages of the Champions League.

Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain were linked with the attacker in the latter stages of the summer window, while West Ham United have also been credited with an interest.

According to Calciomercato, the Croatia international recently received a lucrative offer from Al-Gharafa, who are managed by former Fulham boss Slavisa Jovanovic.

However, the report claims that the 2018 World Cup finalist turned down the contract as he wants to review what offers arrive during the next European transfer market at the start of 2020.

Mandzukic, who has scored 44 times in 162 appearances for Juve in all competitions, is yet to be involved for the Old Lady in the early stages of the 2019-20 campaign.
