Juventus have announced that midfielder Claudio Marchisio has left the club by mutual consent, ending a 25-year stay in Turin.
Marchisio joined the Bianconeri as a seven-year-old in 1993 and went on to progress through the youth ranks before making 389 senior appearances for the club.
The 32-year-old scored 37 goals in that time, helping the club to seven successive Serie A titles, four successive Coppas Italia and two Champions League finals.
Marchisio remained with the Old Lady following their demotion to Serie B in 2006-07, making 26 appearances that season as Juventus secured an immediate return to the top flight.
The 55-time Italy international has struggled with injuries in recent years, though, and has now agreed to the termination of his contract by mutual consent.
Marchisio has been linked with a move to the MLS, although his next club has not yet been announced.
