Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has praised Alessandro Del Piero after the veteran came off the bench to score in Sunday's 2-0 win over Inter Milan.
The 37-year-old has been played sparingly for the Old Lady in what is his last season with the Italian giants before he becomes a free agent.
However, Buffon insists that his teammate has been nothing but professional as Juve look to claim their first Serie A title since 2003.
"I am very happy for Del Piero, who obviously deserves this goal," Buffon told the club's official website.
"He is a great champion, but I'd like to point out how wonderfully professional Ale has been this year. He accepted this role and never made any trouble or controversy, working hard in training and repaying the coach when called upon."
Juventus are four points behind league leaders AC Milan following Sunday's victory.
