Half-Time Report: Carlos Tevez fires Juventus ahead against Udinese

Carlos Tevez's eighth-minute goal separates Juventus and Udinese at half time in Turin.

Juventus are on course to maintain their unbeaten start to the Serie A season having taken a 1-0 lead over Udinese into the interval.

The hosts were up and running with just eight minutes on the clock when Carlos Tevez fired home after being picked out inside the area.

Roberto Pereyra latched onto a pass before unleashing a strike just short of the half-hour mark, but his effort ended narrowly above the bar as Juventus went in search of a second.

Further chances were few and far between in the closing stages of the first half, with the Old Lady looking largely in command at the break.
