Former Ipswich boss Roy Keane hints at a return to management but admits that he's waiting for the "right challenge".

Former Ipswich Town manager Roy Keane has suggested that he could return to management in the near future.

The former Manchester United captain has been linked with the Nottingham Forest vacancy following Steve McClaren's resignation from the Championship club.

"I left Ipswich about eight or nine months ago and it has gone pretty quick, I have to say, and I am hoping the right challenge is around the corner," Keane told Sky Sports News.

"But having said that, I am enjoying my bit of time off because before that I have been involved in the game intensively for 20 years.

"But I know pretty sure if the right challenge comes up, I will be ready for it and I will be looking forward to it."

Meanwhile, Steve Cotterill, Kevin MacDonald and Mark Robins have reportedly been interviewed regarding the Forest position.
