Half-Time Report: Ipswich Town, Doncaster Rovers goalless at the break

Ipswich Town and Doncaster Rovers go into the half-time break with the score at 0-0.

Ipswich Town and Doncaster Rovers have gone into the half-time break of their Championship match at Portman Road with the score level at 0-0.

Fifteen minutes into the game, Tyrone Mings almost got his first goal for the Tractor Boys with a thumping volley, but Sam Johnstone parried the ball away.

Paul Anderson then stood up his marker before beating him for pace and rolling the ball across the box for Stephen Hunt, but the left-winger put his effort wide.

At the other end, Chris Brown battled with the Ipswich defence and managed to get a shot away despite being stranded on the floor, and Dean Gerken had to be alert to deny the striker.

Gerken then denied Gabriel Tamas, who nodded at the goalkeeper from a corner before James Husband dragged his shot wide of goal as the vistors began to find a foothold in the game.
