Thiago Motta admits that he is interested in a move from Inter Milan to Paris St Germain.

Inter Milan's Thiago Motta has strongly hinted that he is on the verge of leaving Serie A for big-spending Paris Saint-Germain.

The Brazilian midfielder has been linked with the French giants recently, with the Paris club keen to secure a deal in January.

A move to PSG would see Motta reunited with his former coach and compatriot Leonardo, who is now director of football at the French club. When asked about the likelihood of the move, Motta hesitated before confirming that he would be interested.

"I spoke with the president and the club, we clarified a lot of things, now we have to see," said the 29-year-old.

"Paris is a great city, there's still eight days until the end of the transfer market.

"Anything can happen."

The former Barcelona man was voted into the 2011 Serie A team of the season, an award chosen by footballers, coaches, referees and selected journalists.
