Preview: Inter Milan vs. Catania

Sports Mole previews this weekend's Serie A clash between Inter Milan and Catania.

Inter Milan will be aiming for their first win in four games when they host Catania at the San Siro on Sunday.

The Nerazzurri have won just one of their last eight fixtures and have slipped 11 points behind third-placed Napoli, who occupy the final Champions League qualifying spot.

Walter Mazzarri's men suffered a 1-0 defeat against Genoa last weekend and are yet to pick up three points in 2014.

Their opponents Catania have lost their past three matches and sit bottom of the table, having picked up 13 points from their first 20 games.

They have lost all 10 of their fixtures away from home in the league this season and fell to a 3-0 defeat against Inter when the two sides met in September.

Inter Milan are still without long-term absentees Cristian Chivu and McDonald Mariga, while Fredy Guarin may not feature after his transfer to Juventus fell through earlier this week. Pablo Barrientos is suspended for Catania, but Francesco Lodi should return to the side after a ban.
