Inter Milan manager Andrea Stramaccioni has insisted that his side's attempts to qualify for Europe would look far better if they were not hampered by a crippling injury list.
Diego Milito, Rodrigo Palacio and Antonio Cassano are among the players on the treatment table at the San Siro, with Walter Samuel also out of tomorrow's trip to Palermo.
Inter have lost four of their last six games in all competitions in a run which has seen them slip out of the race for Champions League qualification.
Stramaccioni is adamant that his depleted squad are working at their maximum to ensure Inter salvage their season and claim a place in Europe.
He told reporters at his pre-match press conference: "Our biggest regret is that we've had to make do without some of our most important players.
"I'm very calm at the moment because the players we have available are doing a great job. There aren't many left though. We're disappointed because we certainly could have had a few more points.
"Some things have gone well, others less so. Our aim remains to get Inter back up among the top spots. Cassano and Palacio? Their recovery periods are quite similar."
With five games left in Serie A Inter sit fifth on 53 points, just one clear of Roma and two ahead of Lazio and Udinese in the race for a Europa League place.
