Hull City vice chairman Ehab Allam has reportedly claimed that Wigan Athletic have not made an approach for manager Steve Bruce.

The 52-year-old has been linked with a return to the DW Stadium in the event of current boss Roberto Martinez leaving for Everton.

However, Allam insists that there has been no contact with any club with regards to Bruce's services, according to the Hull Daily Mail.

Hull will spend next season in the Premier League after securing a second-placed finish in the Championship table during the last campaign.
