Michael Dawson has said that he is "excited" to get going at Hull City after completing his move to the club on a three-year deal.
The 30-year-old joined the Tigers on an undisclosed fee this evening, which sees his nine-year spell at Tottenham Hotspur come to an end.
"I know this club well and obviously there is some family history with my brother Andy having been here," Dawson told the club's official website.
"I'm just excited about getting started here now. The whole football club made it an attractive move to me – the manager, the squad of players, the fans. I feel ready and raring to go.
"Leaving Tottenham was always going to be hard for me, but the chances to play there were going to be less and so a move to Hull City represented a great opportunity for me."
Dawson will wear the number 21 shirt at the KC Stadium.
