The draw means that Villa are now without a victory from their previous seven meetings with Newcastle, having lost four of those encounters.

Paul Lambert's side have also now won just nine of their last 32 Premier League home fixtures.

Visiting Newcastle drew just one away match throughout the entire last term.

Chelsea 2-0 Leicester City

Hosts Chelsea named an unchanged starting lineup for this clash for the first time since October 2012.

Summer signing Diego Costa has had two shots on target this season, both of which he has scored from.

As for visiting Leicester, they have won just one of their nine encounters against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The Eagles have conceded two or more goals in their last five Premier League outings.

One of the goals that they let in was scored by Carlton Cole, who found the net for the first time in 11 outings.

The home side have won only four of their last 16 home matches against fellow London clubs.

Southampton 0-0 West Bromwich Albion

The visiting Baggies are now without a goal from their last three meetings with Southampton.

The draw also means that West Brom are still without a Premier League away victory in the month of August.

Meanwhile, Southampton are unbeaten in their last six matches at the St Mary's Stadium.

Swansea City 1-0 Burnley

Having failed to record a single assist for Spurs last season, Gylfi Sigurdsson has already provided two for the Swans this time around.

The win was Swansea's third in a row - the first time that they achieved that sequence of results since August 2012.

Burnley, on the other hand, have now gone 29 Premier League encounters without keeping a clean sheet.

Everton 2-2 Arsenal

Hosts Everton are now unbeaten from their previous five fixtures against Arsenal.

Nikica Jelavic's goal was his fifth for Hull, but it was the first that he has scored for them at the KC Stadium.

The hosting Tigers failed to register a single shot on target after the restart.

Eric Dier has now scored two goals this season - more than any Spurs defender managed last term.

QPR defender Rio Ferdinand conceded a foul for the first time in 28 Premier League outings.
