Preview: Huddersfield Town vs. Middlesbrough

Sports Mole looks ahead to Tuesday night's Championship encounter between Huddersfield Town and Middlesbrough.

Two teams with very little to play for will meet at the John Smith Stadium tomorrow evening as Middlesbrough make the trip to Huddersfield Town.

Visiting manager Aitor Karanka has a host of injury problems, particularly in defence. A calf complaint is likely to rule out Jonathan Woodgate for the fifth match in succession, while Daniel Ayala, Rhys Williams and Seb Hines will also be absent.

Boro will also be without midfielder Grant Leadbitter, who will sit out the last of his two-match suspension.

As for hosting Huddersfield, Oliver Norwood, Calum Woods and Danny Ward are all said to be pushing for recalls, with the former of that trio expected to start.

Middlesbrough have failed to win either of the last two meetings between these sides, but prior to that, they won seven consecutive matches against the Terriers.
