Half-Time Report: Oliver Norwood gives Huddersfield Town the edge over Brighton & Hove Albion

Oliver Norwood gives Huddersfield Town a one-goal lead before the half-time interval against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Huddersfield Town are on course to upset Championship playoff hopefuls Brighton & Hove Albion by reaching the half-time interval with a 1-0 lead.

Oliver Norwood opened the scoring for the home side in the sixth minute of the clash from a 25-yard free kick.

After the goal, Brighton tried to get themselves back in contention, but Calum Woods was able to make two clearances in quick succession to keep Huddersfield in control.

The home side continued to look comfortable as the half progressed, but Brighton slowly made their way back into contention towards the closing minutes of the first half.

Stephen Ward tried to help his side force through an equaliser by launching a number of crosses into the area, but despite some positive movement, Brighton were unable to find the back of net before the interval.
