Germany manager Joachim Low has confirmed that goalkeeper Manuel Neuer will start his side's World Cup opener against Portugal on Monday.
There had been concerns over the fitness of Neuer, who has been struggling with a shoulder problem since the end of the Bundesliga campaign.
However, the 28-year-old, who is widely regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the world, trained with the team today and is "ready to go" for his side's first match.
"The injury situation is causing me less and less concern. Manuel Neuer took part in training today and he is ready to go on Monday," Low told reporters.
Germany also face Ghana and the United States in Group G.
