Germany goalkeeping coach Andreas Kopke has confirmed that Manuel Neuer is fully fit after recovering from a shoulder injury.
Neuer, 28, took part in his first full training session with the national team on Wednesday following doubts over whether he would be able to participate.
"Things are going in the right direction for him," Kopke is quoted as saying by FIFA's official website. "Manuel is experienced enough and we're constantly discussing how his shoulder feels.
"It's not the case that he doesn't have faith in it. Manuel is fully fit."
Three-time champions Germany play their opening match of the World Cup on Monday, when they face Portugal.
