Joachim Low has suggested that he could step down as the German national coach after the 2014 World Cup.
Germany currently lead the 'group of death' at Euro 2012, but despite his largely successful stint in charge of Die Mannschaft, the 52-year-old admits that sometimes change is necessary.
"There comes a time when both sides feel there needs to be a change," he told Bild.
"There will come a time where new ideas are needed, where a new challenge and new motivation is needed.
"I don't know when that time is but I am sure I will be able to recognize it. I want to be able to reflect on a good career. And I can now. After the Euros the next goal will be Brazil in 2014."
Low has led the Germans to back-to-back wins at the tournament so far.
