Germany coach Joachim Low has hinted that he is prepared to start Miroslav Klose in tomorrow's Group B match against Holland tomorrow night.
The veteran striker was forced to settle for a place on the bench during Saturday's 1-0 win over Portugal, with Bayern Munich frontman Mario Gomez given the nod in favour of Klose.
Gomez netted the Germans' goal at the weekend but Low has refused to rule out the possibility of giving Klose an opportunity to prove his worth to the team.
"I don't always say 'never change a winning team'. It is possible that I will make some changes but I have not decided yet," he told reporters. "I am always good for a surprise.
"I am glad that [Klose] is feeling better. When he is fit he is world class. He is still missing a few things but he has progressed enough that he could start a match."
Klose has scored 63 goals from 117 appearances at international level.
