France coach Didier Deschamps has bemoaned his side's lack of commitment during their tour of South America, which ended with two defeats.
Les Bleus lost 3-0 to Brazil on Sunday night, four days after a 1-0 defeat by Uruguay, and Deschamps said that he expected better from his players.
"We had less in the tank after the break, and their second goal came from an error on our part," Ligue1.com quotes Deschamps as saying.
"You can make mistakes, but can't afford to lack commitment. We had neither the head nor the legs for this match, and so we finish out mini-tour with two defeats.
"Our objective remains qualification for the 2014 World Cup. But even in adversity, when we're playing against superior opposition, we have to be able to do better than we have done."
Oscar, Hernanes and Lucas Moura scored the goals that consigned France to defeat.
