Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade has revealed that the club is closing in on a new deal for winger Juan Cuadrado.
The Colombian international was linked with a number of teams across Europe over the summer, but he eventually remained at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
Despite having three years left on his current contract, the Serie A club is eager for the 26-year-old to put pen to paper on fresh terms.
"We're negotiating," Prade is quoted as saying by Goal.com. "Both parties are discussing the situation and we want to do everything with the greatest serenity for everyone involved. We are hope to soon find a point of agreement."
Cuadrado has scored two goals in five games for Fiorentina so far this season.
