Roberto Martinez denies Aiden McGeady poised for Everton medical

Everton manager Roberto Martinez denies reports that Aiden McGeady is poised for a medical at Goodison Park.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has rejected reports that Spartak Moscow winger Aiden McGeady is close to sealing a move to Goodison Park.

Reports have claimed that the 27-year-old has been in talks with the Merseyside outfit and is poised for a medical.

However, Martinez has distanced himself from these reports in today's press conference by saying: "I won't talk about players at other clubs."

The Republic of Ireland international is expected to sign a pre-contract agreement at Everton ahead of a summer switch.
