Everton and Newcastle United are reportedly planning to move for Toulouse midfielder Ibrahim Sangare during the next transfer window.

Toulouse midfielder Ibrahim Sangare has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Everton and Newcastle United.

Last week, the Ligue 1 campaign was ended due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, which has resulted in Toulouse being relegated to the second tier.

While Sangare was already a target for bigger clubs ahead of the next window, Toulouse's demotion will inevitably lead to more speculation regarding the 22-year-old's future.

According to The Express, Everton and Newcastle will attempt to negotiate a cut-price agreement for the Ivory Coast international.

Sangare has just over a year left on his contract, leaving Toulouse in a position where they will realistically have to cash in on one of their key men.

The player made 25 starts in France's top flight during the most recent campaign.
