Everton midfielder Andre Gomes will spend the 2022-23 campaign on loan with French outfit Lille.
The 29-year-old joined the Toffees on a permanent deal from Barcelona in 2019 following a successful loan spell, and he has represented the Merseyside outfit on 100 occasions in all competitions.
Gomes has not played a single minute of football for Frank Lampard's side this term, though, with the Portugal international not even making the bench for the team's first four matches of the season.
Everton have boosted their midfield on transfer deadline day with the arrivals of James Garner from Manchester United and Idrissa Gueye from Paris Saint-Germain.
As a result, Gomes has been allowed to depart, with the midfielder moving on loan to Lille.
"Everton midfielder Andre Gomes has joined LOSC Lille on loan for the remainder of the 2022/23 campaign," read a statement on the English club's official website.
The midfielder's debut for the French club could arrive against Montpellier on Sunday afternoon.
