Everton have reportedly ended their interest in Celtic full-back Kieran Tierney.
New Everton boss Marco Silva is understood to have identified Tierney as a possible summer target as he eyes a long-term replacement for Leighton Baines.
The Toffees had been considering a £25m approach for the Scotland international, but BBC Sport reports that they have now decided against pursuing the defender.
Tierney is thought to be happy to stay at Celtic for at least another year despite numerous clubs monitoring his situation, including Spanish giants Atletico Madrid.
The 21-year-old is contracted to the Scottish champions until 2023 and Celtic are reluctant to sell the full-back, who has established himself as a first-team regular over the past three seasons.
Tierney has made 130 appearances for the club, helping them to three Premiership titles and three domestic cups.
