Everton have reportedly identified Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure as a possible signing.
Doucoure has made a huge impression since arriving at Vicarage Road in 2016, with a total of eight goals being scored from 70 appearances in the Premier League.
The 25-year-old has been frequently linked with a switch to a bigger club, and according to The Mirror, Marco Silva is keen on taking the player to Goodison Park.
The Portuguese worked with Doucoure during his time with the Hornets, and it appears that the Toffees hierarchy are prepared to back their manager in his pursuit of the Frenchman.
However, Watford are likely to demand a big fee for Doucoure, with the relationship between the two clubs strained after Everton's pursuit of Silva last year and with the player still having over four-and-a-half years remaining on his contract.
