Cardiff City complete signing of Everton winger Matthew Kennedy

Cardiff City announce the permanent signing of Everton winger Matthew Kennedy on a three-and-a-half-year deal.

Cardiff City have completed the signing of Everton winger Matthew Kennedy on a three-and-a-half-year contract.

The 20-year-old began his career at Kilmarnock in 2011 before joining the Toffees a year later and going on to spend time on loan at Tranmere Rovers, MK Dons and Hibernian.

Kennedy has also represented his native Scotland at several youth levels, turning out for the Under-21s against Portugal's youngsters in 2012.

He is one of three deadline-day arrivals at the Cardiff City Stadium, joining the Bluebirds alongside Eoin Doyle and Conor McAleny.
