Cardiff City snap up Everton's Conor McAleny

Cardiff snap up Everton forward Conor McAleny on loan until the end of the 2014-15 campaign.

Cardiff City have announced that they have signed Everton striker Conor McAleny on loan for the rest of the season.

The highly-rated 22-year-old travelled with the Toffees for a six-day training camp in Qatar last week, but has now moved to the Bluebirds.

McAleny has made one senior appearance for Everton this season - a Europa League clash with Krasnodar.

Cardiff boss Russell Slade also added Chesterfield hitman Eoin Doyle to his ranks on a permanent deal on transfer deadline day.
