Seamus Coleman returns to Everton's starting XI ahead of Wednesday night's Premier League meeting with Leicester City at Goodison Park.

Seamus Coleman has returned to Everton's starting XI ahead of Wednesday night's Premier League meeting with Leicester City at Goodison Park.

The 29-year-old full-back has been out since suffering a broken leg playing for the Republic of Ireland against Wales last March, but is now fully fit and included from the off.

Coleman is one of seven changes to the side that drew 1-1 with West Bromwich Albion as Jonjoe Kenny, Mason Holgate, Ashley Williams, Morgan Schneiderlin, Nikola Vlasic, James McCarthy and Cenk Tosun are all omitted.

Sam Allardyce has instead opted for Michael Keane and Phil Jagielka in defence, while Tom Davies, Idrissa Gueye, Wayne Rooney and Oumar Niasse all return.

Leicester manager Claude Puel, meanwhile, has made one change to the side that beat Watford 2-0 in the club's last Premier League match.

Riyad Mahrez did not travel to Goodison Park after handing in a transfer request, which means that he has been replaced by Demarai Gray in the starting lineup.

Fousseni Diabate and Kelechi Iheanacho, who impressed in the 5-1 win over Peterborough United in the FA Cup, must make do with places on the bench.

Everton: Pickford; Coleman, Jagielka, Keane, Martina; Davies, Gueye; Walcott, Rooney, Sigurdsson; Niasse
Subs: Joel, Schneiderlin, Williams, Bolasie, Tosun, Calvert-Lewin, Kenny

Leicester City: Schmeichel; Amartey, Dragovic, Maguire, Chilwell; Albrighton, Ndidi, James, Gray; Okazaki, Vardy
Subs: Hamer, Benalouane, Fuchs, Silva, Iborra, Diabate, Iheanacho
