Leon Osman believes that Everton have proved that they can beat any side the Premier League after taking a 2-0 win over Manchester City earlier today.

Leon Osman has said that Everton have proved that they are a match for any team in the Premier League after beating Manchester City 2-0 this afternoon.

The Toffees have moved up to fifth in the league table after beating the reigning champions.

The midfielder, who scored the first of Everton's goals today, told Sky Sports News: "It was disappointing last week [to lose to Wigan in the FA Cup] but we showed when we are at the races we are a match for any team.

"We've just got to keep our heads down and try to churn out results like that. It is going to be tough as we have some tough games against some of the teams around us."

Everton have won three of their last six games in the league.
