Everton manager Roberto Martinez reveals that Gerard Deulofeu is 'raring to go' as he nears a return from a hamstring injury.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has revealed that Gerard Deulofeu is 'raring to go' as he nears a return from injury.

The Spanish youngster, who is on loan from Barcelona, has been sidelined for nearly two months with a hamstring problem.

However, Martinez is confident that Deulofeu will come back a better player than before.

"He'll definitely come back stronger," the coach told the Liverpool Echo. "He's excited about playing.

"I can guarantee the fans they will see a very different Gerard Deulofeu and someone who is ready to be very important."

Everton's season continues on Sunday when they face Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane in the Premier League.
