Rafael Benitez confirms that England and Everton forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin is set to be out of action until the end of November, at the earliest.

Everton will be without Dominic Calvert-Lewin for at least another five weeks due to his quadriceps injury.

Rafael Benitez has confirmed the news that the England international is set to miss more game time, meaning he will be unavailable until late November.

The striker has only played three Premier League matches this season, having been out of action since the 2-0 win against Brighton & Hove Albion back in August.

Calvert-Lewin has since been unavailable due to injury and he was expected to be returning soon, but the 24-year-old has aggravated the issue during a training session earlier this week.

"Dominic has a re-injury. How long he will be out, depends on how he reacts to the treatment. We will not see him for four or five weeks, and we will see later on what is going on," Benitez told reporters.

"It is important to see how the player is improving and how he feels."

Calvert-Lewin scored three goals in as many games at the start of the season before injury curtailed his prolific opening to the campaign.
