Roy Hodgson pleased with "strong squad"

England manager Roy Hodgson believes that England should seal qualification with the squad he has available for the final two games.

England manager Roy Hodgson has admitted that he is pleased with the squad that he has been able to name for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Poland and Montenegro.

Hodgson said that with the players he has available England should be able to seal their passage into the 2014 World Cup with the two fixtures.

"I think it's a very strong squad of players," he told Sky Sports News. "There are no real surprises as it doesn't vary much from the last one, albeit that in the last squad we didn't have all the players with us.

I'm happy that at the moment things are looking good squad-wise. These are two very important games, but I am very hopeful that these players are the ones that will take us [to the World Cup].

The games are going to be sold out, which shows the good support that the nation has [for the team]."

England are top of Group H by one point over Ukraine.
