Bobby Zamora has said that he his keen to make his mark on the England squad when he receives a start against Sweden at Wembley on Tuesday.
Darren Bent received his audition during England's 1-0 victory over Spain on Saturday, and Zamora says that he is now excited to take his own opportunity against Sweden.
"There's a nice feeling about the camp and it was topped off with a good win," the Fulham striker said. "That was a great result for us.
"I'm looking forward to Tuesday, I can't wait for the opportunity. I'm ready now. I want to play.
"But you're training with the best, it's a good education and then I'll do my best when the chance comes. Every game does feel like a trial but you have to take your chance and that's what I intend to do. I want to keep playing well, keep going in the league.
"It's been a bit up and down for me recently. But you have to work hard and take your opportunities when they come."
Zamora won his first England cap during a friendly with Hungary last year.
