England's friendly with Brazil has been suspended by a judge due to safety concerns over the Maracana Stadium.
The decision, which is subject to review, was made by judge Adriana Costa dos Santos, who doubted enough improvements had been made to the stadium to hold a game of this magnitude.
"At this moment we have no news that the restrictions were amended to a level of safety that would be expected at this stage," Costa dos Santos is quoted as saying by Goal.com.
"Therefore, due to the laziness of the people responsible, in this case, the defendants, we cannot allow the stadium to be re-inaugurated without proof that it is safe and hygienic."
The game between Roy Hodgson's side and the Brazilians was due to take place on Sunday.
