England boss Roy Hodgson has revealed that Theo Walcott will not take part in Friday night's training session after picking up a dead leg, placing his involvement against Germany in severe doubt.
The Arsenal attacker is one of the senior members of the current England squad and had been expected to start Saturday's international friendly with Germany.
Hodgson, however, has confirmed that the 27-year-old will not train on Friday evening, but stopped short of officially ruling the attacker out of contention against the world champions.
Chelsea centre-back Gary Cahill will skipper the Three Lions against Germany due to the absence of Wayne Rooney.
