Teddy Sheringham believes that England will not win the European Championships until they mimic Spain's style.
The Spanish head into Euro 2012 as favourites to retain their title, while England travel to Poland and Ukraine with uncharacteristically low expectations ahead of a major competition.
"My favourite to win the Euros are Spain, absolutely. England? No, England are not a favourite," former England striker Sheringham told Goal.com.
"England will win the Euros when they are capable of keeping the ball for as long as Spain usually do."
England open up their campaign on Monday afternoon against France. Meanwhile, Spain take on Italy a day earlier.
