PFA chief executive Bobby Barnes echos Sol Campbell's fears that England fans could be subjected to discrimination during Euro 2012.

Professional Footballers' Association chief executive Bobby Barnes believes that Sol Campbell is being "cautious" but understands that England supporters could be in danger of racism and violence at Euro 2012.

The former Three Lions and Arsenal defender has urged fans to avoid Poland and Ukraine due to fears of discrimination in the area.

"I think he's being a little bit cautious but fans are obviously going to be at risk and it's a case of how the authorities actually impose the force that they are going to need to," Barnes told BBC Radio Five Live.

"As Sol said, there have been problems, not just from these countries but around eastern Europe over a number of years. One hopes there will be a very strong response should anything occur."

Roy Hodgson's side will kick off their Euro 2012 campaign with a group clash against France in Ukraine on June 11.
