David Lomban earns point for Elche

Elche score in stoppage time to earn a 1-1 draw against Granada in their La Liga match.

David Lomban scored a late equaliser as Elche held Granada to a 1-1 draw in their La Liga meeting this evening.

Garry Rodrigues came close to opening the scoring when his strike was kept out by Roberto Fernandez.

They had another opportunity to score just before the end of the first half, but Enzo Andia fired over from inside the box.

Midway through the second half Success Isaac had the ball in the net for Granada, but his effort was ruled out for offside.

In the 81st minute the visitors took the lead through Fran Rico, who latched onto Isaac's pass before slotting the ball under the legs of the keeper from a tight angle.

Granada were unable to hold onto the win though, as in stoppage time Lomban arrived at the back post to steer Edu Albacar's free kick into the net and earn his side a point.
