German club Eintracht Frankfurt have signed Norwegian centre-back Vadim Demidov from Real Sociedad for an undisclosed fee.
Demidov had been strongly linked with a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers last week, but has opted for a move to the Bundesliga.
"We are very pleased to have been able to bring this transfer to a successful conclusion for Eintracht Frankfurt," director of sport Bruno Hubner said in a statement.
"We have been able to sign a strong central defender who has leadership qualities and therefore fits into the team profile of Eintracht Frankfurt and head coach Armin Veh."
Demidov has been capped 15 times by Norway.
