Doncaster Rovers manager Dean Saunders expects El-Hadji Diouf to leave the club in the summer.

Manager Dean Saunders has revealed that El-Hadji Diouf is likely to leave Doncaster Rovers in the coming weeks.

The 31-year-old former Senegal international has 12 months remaining on his contract at the Keepmoat Stadium.

However, Saunders believes that Diouf will be seeking new employers following the club's relegation to League One.

"He's a class player, not easy to manage off the pitch, but I only had him for five months and the clauses in his contract are for the Championship," said Saunders.

"I think he'll probably be going to another club, whether it's Leeds or somewhere else."

Diouf scored six goals last season.
