Doncaster Rovers are currently in discussions with West Ham United over the loan signing of striker Frederic Piquionne, according to Sky Sports News.
Piquionne has slipped down the pecking order at Upton Park following the January arrivals of Ricardo Vaz Te and Nicky Maynard.
As a result, West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce is said to be willing to allow the Frenchman to leave the club on a temporary basis.
Doncaster boss Dean Saunders has reportedly identified Piquionne as a replacement for Billy Sharp, who joined fellow Championship club Southampton.
