Doncaster Rovers could sell players to Wolverhampton Wanderers

Doncaster Rovers chief executive Gavin Baldwin has admitted that new Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Dean Saunders could come in for some of his old players.

Baldwin said that he hopes that Saunders will not bid for any Rovers players, but admitted that it is a possibility.

"Dean's behaved very honourably during this whole process and I don't believe he will come in for our players," The Star quotes Baldwin as saying.

"If he did come in with an offer for one of our players, we'd make a commercial decision. It may be to our advantage that he comes in with an offer for some players because we may be able to strengthen some positions with those monies.

"We're not a club that needs to be bullied into selling a player any more. We don't need to sell. We will make a decision on the monies offered and the player it's been offered against."

Doncaster are currently second in League One.
