Dagenham & Redbridge confirm that manager John Still's tenure has come to an end as he prepares to take over at Luton Town.

Dagenham & Redbridge have confirmed that manager John Still has left the club in order to take over at Luton Town.

Still had been heavily linked with a switch to the Hatters following Paul Buckle's exit last week.

A statement on the club's official website read: "John had two offers on the table for his services and was given permission by the board of directors to talk to Luton Town at the weekend.

"He has thought over the proposal from the Blue Square Premier side and has decided to take up the new challenge."

Luton later released a statement on their website claiming that Still will be presented to the media in a news conference at Kenilworth Road at 1pm this afternoon.

Still, who spent nine years at Victoria Road, will be replaced by assistant boss Wayne Burnett, who will take up the interim role until the end of the season.
