Crystal Palace have reportedly decided to push through with the January signing of Getafe goalkeeper Vicente Guaita.
With just six months remaining on Guaita's deal with his current club, Palace had the option of securing the 31-year-old's services on a pre-contract agreement.
However, according to the London Evening Standard, Palace are prepared to complete the signing of the stopper before the end of the month.
The report claims that the Eagles will pay £7m for the Spaniard, who has spent the last three-and-a-half seasons at the La Liga outfit.
The Valencia academy graduate has made a total of 18 appearances in Spain's top flight during the current campaign.
